Lord Dalhousie seeks to have huge reinforcements sent to Jhansi to help Nelson protect Jhansi Fort. Laxmibai tells her confidantes that there were very few British soldiers inside the fort presently and thus, it was the best time to attack. Ghaus Khan gets his ammunitions and men towards Jhansi. At the camp, Laxmibai decides that she will attack and not wait for Ghaus Khan's army or hers to arrive. Laxmibai decides to enter Jhansi Fort secretly but wonders how. Meanwhile, Nelson's strategy is to surround Laxmibai's army. Nelson revels in the royal luxuries and dons the king's attire. Nelson even enters Laxmibai's chamber and throws away her painting with Gangadhar. Laxmibai narrates about Gangadhar's and her life to little Damodar.
